Endowment logo                         …the Endowment Fund Challenge

To date, the Lincoln County Library Endowment Fund has received $31,253 in donations and $62,367 in matching dollars from the state .  Because of your generosity, we have made great progress in our first year of fundraising for the endowment…but we have a ways to go.  We are eligible to receive 2:1 matching dollars on donations up to $147,826.  Our goal is to take full advantage of this unprecedented opportunity to receive two dollars for every dollar donated.    Thank you & best wishes for 2010!          Updated 01/05/10
The 2008 Wyoming State Legislature set aside $9.1 million in matching funds to encourage establishment and growth of library endowments.  Lincoln County libraries are eligible to receive a 2:1 match on donations up to $147,826.  Every dollar donated, up to that amount, will be matched by the state with an additional two dollars.
When libraries statewide have raised $2.3 million cumulatively, each of the state’s 23 county library systems will receive an additional $100,000.  At the end of the fundraising period, June 30, 2013, we could have an endowment of over $550,000.
Tax deductible contributions may be made online by clicking on the “Foundation” tab at the top of the page or by mailing your check to Lincoln County Library Foundation (LCLF) Endowment Fund, 519 Emerald Street, Kemmerer, WY 83101.
