In the spring, at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt.  ~Margaret Atwood

So come on down to the library and check out our new junior books for the month…they don’t care how you smell!

Junior Fiction

Brandon Mull (the Fablehaven series) is back this month with the first book is his newest trilogy.  This year’s Newbery Medal winner is also in, along with a series follow-up about incorrigible children, a look at what Jack London *might* have been through, and a detective novel set in a bathroom stall.

 Junior Non-Fiction

Another book by the clever and educational Brian Cleary is in, as is a new take on the classic biography.  How They Croaked gives a brief bio on many interesting historical figures, and let’s you know what is was that killed them.  A great supplement for a school report…

Easy

We have a little bit of everything this month in easy books.  A Caldecott winner, a fun book about the water cycle, a quick trip across country with a dog and his cat “friends”, and the answer to the often asked, and just as often unanswerd question, why do I have to make my bed?

T.V.  If two letters keep kids entertained, imagine what twenty-six can do.  Open your child’s imagination.  Open a book.

What do magical zoos, faerie riders, dragons, dogs, ogres and girls named Hamlet have in common?  They’re all waiting for you down at the library this month in new Junior Fiction.
